– Custom Home & Renovation Design since 1988 –

About Us

It all began as a boy aspiring to be an artist when Jim Ross moved his pencil across the paper to produce the sketch of a home. The sheer joy of designing is a passion Jim has never lost, and now his signature homes have won awards and recognition across the globe.

In 1988, Jim founded Ross Design Group, a residential design firm specializing in custom home and renovation design. Jim’s passion and creativity has propelled his firm into award-winning status, being honored with many prestigious design awards and recognized in national, regional, and local media publications for creative innovation.

We truly had a lot of fun building our home start to finish. The design phase was special because we were so involved in the process. The personal attention developing the ideas and the one-on-one time we spent refining the plan is what made our project a success. I believe the great working relationship Jim had with our builder helped us to keep cost in perspective. Should we build again, Ros Design Group will absolutely be our designer. We appreciate what they did for our family.

We have had countless compliments on the design of our home, and have noticed many, many cars slow down to look at it. We are thoroughly happy with the design as well as the function. Jim is a very gifted designer, and we would, and have, recommended him to our friends.

We were very pleased with the original creative design provided by the Ross Design Group. Our change requests were accommodated efficiently, and we continue to derive pleasure from looking at and living in our home.
